Release your inner dancing queen! Mamma Mia! comes to San Francisco

Are you an ABBA fan or do you just want to release your inner dancing queen?

In my opionion, the best and only way to see Mamma Mia! is live and on stage (Sorry, Meryl Streep. Not even you could save me from the horror that was Pierce Brosnan singing!)

I saw Mamma Mia! for the first time on Broadway in New York and fell in love. Now you can see it here in this city, through Sunday, Mar. 4 at the Orpheum Theatre (1192 Market St.).

Visit the SHN website and get your tickets now for this short two-week run.

If you’ve never seen it live, “take a chance” on Mamma Mia! Be a “Super Trouper” and I promise you won’t need an “S.O.S.” You’ll love it and leave the theatre a “Dancing Queen.”

You’re a mean one, Mr. Grinch!

If you’ve already done the Nutcracker and want to see something new this holiday, why not go see old Mr. Grinch?

From Dec. 21  through Dec. 29, you can check out Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas live on stage at the Golden Gate Theatre.

Inspired by Dr. Seuss’ beloved story and featuring the hit songs “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch” and “Welcome Christmas,” The Grinch discovers there’s more to Christmas than he bargained for in this heart-warming holiday classic. Max the Dog narrates as the mean and scheming Grinch, whose heart is “two sizes too small,” decides to steal Christmas away from the Whos, an endlessly cheerful bunch, bursting with holiday spirit.

Tickets are on sale now at the SHN website.
