Zombie Nightlife at the California Academy of Sciences Tonight
Dying to have some fun with the undead before Halloween?
Then head to the California Academy of Sciences tonight for Zombie NightLife, a booze-fueled, bloody-fun evening in Golden Gate Park.
The zombie-filled fun will include a crash course in zombie neuroscience from Stanford and the Zombie Research Society, real human brain specimens and a lecture from an Academy researcher on Zombie Ant Fungus, an actual parasitic bacteria that prompts ants to sorta seem like zombies, rambling to their deaths.
You also won’t want to miss horror maven and hostess Peaches Christ and her Zombie Drag Show and Costume Contest (un-dead attire encouraged!). And dance the night away at Miss Misery’s “Zombie Prom”. Undead makeup artists will be on hand for those who want to channel their inner zombie. Plus, sample the latest in zombie video games and even go on a zombie apocalypse adventure through the museum.
